Miedema Produce was begun in 1971 by two brothers who wanted to try something new. The company specializes in growing, packing, and selling radishes, along with a variety of other small vegetables. This small company soon became more successful than they ever expected, rising to the second-largest radish provider in the nation. Their hard work paid off as they expanded, increasing the overall profits of the company. Miedema Produce is centered in Hudsonville, Michigan, nicknamed "Michigan's Salad Bowl." This main location is supplied by a farm in Burnaps, Michigan, called Gun Lake Farms. Miedema's other location is near Phoenix, Arizona. Miedema's dual locations allows them to grow and pack radishes all year round. In turn, they can supply their customers with the finest radishes, despite Michigan's limited growing season.
